Food Bank Of North Carolina Seeks Donations

Food Bank of North Carolina

, which serves 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina, is providing emergency food for Isabel victims in eastern North Carolina. It is asking residents in the Triangle who were spared the worst of the storm to donate their unused emergency food to help those less fortunate.

Located at 3808 Tarheel Drive in Raleigh, the food bank is accepting emergency food, such as non-perishable foods, canned meats and vegetables, and water.The hours to donate food are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday until 8 p.m. and Saturdays until 4 p.m.
