CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The last patient from the Kinston plant explosion is getting ready to go home for good.
Jim Edwards will go home Friday after almost eight months at UNC Hospitals.
The fire burned Edwards over most of his body and blinded him.
In July when Edwards was allowed to go home for a night, he told WRAL that he felt good about everything and he was moving forward with his life.
