RALEIGH,N.C. — A grand jury indicted a 19-year-old man Tuesday in a wreck that killed four teenagers on Interstate 540 two years ago.
Chris Petersen will turn himself into police first thing Thursday morning.
A grand jury indicted Reaves on four counts of involuntary manslaughter. If convicted, Petersen faces up to eight years in prison.
In August, Petersen was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, but a grand jury refused to indict him.
District Attorney Colon Willoughby said there is evidence that Petersen was racing with another car when the crash happened.
The district attorney's office met with investigators and offered more evidence to the grand jury.
