Judge Does Not Issue Gag Order For Alleged Victim In Methodist Hazing Incident

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A football player who claims he was assaulted by teammates at Methodist College will not have to keep quiet.

A judge did not issue a gag order against Kent Murphy, who filed a lawsuit against the school.

Murphy says seven former teammates attacked and sexually assaulted him late last year.

The players were punished by the school, but criminal charges were dropped.
