RALEIGH, N.C. — Miss North Carolina has her eyes on a new crown.
Dana Reason left Raleigh-Durham International Airport Wednesday for the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City. She and the other contestants will stop in Washington D.C. on the way to meet President Bush and other top politicans.
Another North Carolinian also is attending the pageant. Clay Aiken will perform during the opening act.
