RALEIGH, N.C. — A man accused of robbing a restaurant owner is in jail.
Marcus Bryant was arrested Friday by State Bureau of Investigation agents. Bryant is charged with armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping.
According to police, Bryant broke into the apartment of Chang Wen Lin and his wife in the 200 block of East Lockhaven Drive in Goldsboro on Aug. 6, kidnapping them and then stealing $2,000 and other property.
Officers said two other suspects are still on the loose.
Bryant also is being held on other charges in the Cumberland County jail in Fayetteville.
As Lin returned home from the China Star restaurant on Wayne Memorial Drive, the three men followed him inside and held the couple at gunpoint. They allegedly assaulted the woman, took the cash, a cellular telephone and a video cassette recorder and fled.
