— A Spring Lake woman was arrested Wednesday after her six young children were caught in a drug raid.

During a raid Tuesday afternoon, deputies found drugs and guns inside a mobile home on Macaville Circle.

According to Lt. Sam Pennica of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, three children were found unclothed and playing in a bathtub full of dirty water when deputies arrived. Two other children, ages 6 and 7, came home from school while deputies were still on the scene.

The children's mother, Dior Scott, is charged with three counts of misdemeanor child abuse.

Deputies said drugs and guns were found inside the mobile home. Razor blades were found on top of a bed.

Deputies said Demetrius Polk, 25, believed to be the father of three of the children, is a suspected crack dealer. He was charged with maintaining a dwelling for drugs, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession of a stolen firearm. He is in the Cumberland County Detention Facility under a $7,000 secured bond.

Scott was released from the Cumberland County Detention Facility after posting bond Thursday morning.
