RALEIGH, N.C. — A former North Carolina State University employee accused of stealing $43,000 from the university was in court Tuesday.
Jodi Smith and her husband, Craig, were arrested last month.
Jodi was an accountant at the cashier's office. Investigators say she stole money from scholarship sponsors.
