Police Investigate Wilson Bank Robbery

WILSON, N.C. — Police in Wilson are looking for a man who robbed a bank on W. Nash St. Monday morning.

A First Citizens Bank branch was robbed at 10:05 a.m.Police said a man entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The note indicated that the teller would be shot if demands were not met.

The teller complied and the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount money. No one was injured.

The man was described as black, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a dark long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and wearing a dark blue baseball cap.
