HOPE MILLS, N.C. — One Cumberland County town soaked by flooding around Memorial Day will get some much needed financial help.
This week, the Council of State approved nearly $5 million in relief money for Hope Mills.
The state money will help pay to repair a dam, a bridge and roads.
The disaster relief, however, will not go to homeowners.
