Man Faces Charges Of DWI, Driving With Revoked License, Second-Degree Murder Following Fatal Henderson Crash

HENDERSON, N.C. — Henderson police have charged 35-year-old Gregory Andrew Lucas with driving while impaired and driving with a revoked license in connection with a fatal traffic accident Sunday morning.

An additional two counts of second-degree murder also will be filed against Lucas after two people died in the chain-reaction collision started by Lucas.

Lucas, who has previous known addresses of Virginia Beach, Va., and Norlina, N.C., remained hospitalized Monday for injuries he suffered in the wreck.

Two passengers in a U.S. Mail trailer were killed. They have been identified as 46-year-old James Moore of Greensboro, N.C., and 40-year-old Reggie Hamilton of Thomasville, N.C.
