Troy Benton Bullock, 17, was arrested Thursday. He faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer, speeding to elude arrest, larceny of a motor vehicle, first-degree burglary, felonious possession of a stolen vehicle and aiding and abetting.
Authorities said Thursday that Bullock also is suspected in a car theft. All the incidents occurred from June 17-28 and were detailed in arrest warrants.
Bullock is accused of stealing a car in Holly Springs June 17 and then speeding to elude a Cary police officer on Kildaire Farm Road.
Authorities also say Bullock fired a shotgun twice at Fuquay-Varina police Officer Eric Smith on June 28. At the time, Smith was investigating shotgun blasts fired a day earlier into an apartment occupied by Christopher and Tamitha A. Miller, for which Bullock was charged.
