Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The case of a Wake County deputy accused of threatening his wife has ended in a mistrial.

Joel Holt had been accused of pulling a gun on his wife and threatening to kill her.

The judge disclared a mistrial Wednesday after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict.

The district attorney has not decided if the case will go to trial again.
