Chapel Hill Police May Step Up Patrols

Posted Updated

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police are re-assessing patrols after another assault in downtown.

Police say two people were attacked early over the weekend, causing minor injuries.

The latest incident follows a series of ten assaults last month near Franklin and Rosemary Streets.

Police stepped up patrols after those assaults, but they may consider adding more officers to the beat.
