The TikTok legislation was included as part of a larger $95 billion package providing foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel and was passed 79-18. It now goes to President Joe Biden, who has backed the TikTok proposal and has said he will sign the package as soon as he gets it.

<b>RAEFORD, N.C.</b> — Power has been restored for the nearly 4,000 Hoke County residents who lost it Tuesday afternoon after a fire at a Progress Energy substation.

According to reports, a mowing crew outside a substation in Raeford clipped a guide wire, which caused a pole to fall across a wire and start a fire.

The incident left 3,800 customers -- including the town of Raeford -- without power for almost three hours.
