CARY, N.C. — Cary investigators think smoking in bed may have caused a fatal fire over the holiday weekend.
John Jablonski, 41, died in the fire on Waldo Street.
Detectives say they are still waiting on an official cause. But evidence is leading them to believe Jablonski may have fallen asleep with a lit cigarette.
No one else who lived in the triplex was hurt.
