Police Search For 2 Suspects After Raleigh Woman Shot In Jaw

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The search continues for two suspects wanted for shooting a Raleigh woman.

Sandra Turner was shot in the jaw Thursday night while on her front porch on Maple Avenue. She was listed in stable condition at WakeMed Friday night.

According to Raleigh police, Turner simply may have been an innocent victim -- in the wrong place at the wrong time. The bullets apparently were intended for the house next door.

A suspect identified as Brandon Reid has been arrested in connection with the shooting. He is charged with assault with intent to kill.
