CARY, N.C. — Attempted burglary apparently works up a thirst.
Two teens broke into Green Hope High School late Monday and tried to steal from various vending machines inside, police said. It's unclear how the teens got into the building, but surveillance video shows them wandering the school halls.
After their efforts were unsuccessful, one of the teens is seen on the video paying for a soda out of one of the machines, police said.
Police believe the teens also tried to break into the vending machines at the Cary Tennis Park, which is directly behind Green Hope High, on Monday night.
