Hatters, a developer of Ethernet networking technology, recently expanded its operations to Europe.
Shapiro will oversee global manufacturing and operations. He was responsible for Celestica's manufacturing facility. He also worked as director of manufacturing for Motion Media Technology and EMC's operation in Apex, N.C.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in industrial engineering and operations, Shapiro earned a master's degree in business at Boston College.
