Calvert Holdings Acquires Chapel Hill Firm

, a provider of investment banking and other advisory services for biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms, has acquired Kensington Global Alliances of Chapel Hill.

Kensington provides global licensing and business development services. Those services will now be offered as part of Calvert Research Institute, the entrepreneurial division of Calvert Holdings.

Pablo Scolnik, managing director of Kensington, will become vice president of licensing and business development for Calvert Research Institute.

Calvert Research Institute invests in early-stage biotechnology and pharmaceutical therapies.
