GARNER, N.C. — East Garner Middle School is no longer on the list of schools that could go year-round.
The Wake County School Board met Tuesday and tweaked the list.
Five middle schools -- North Garner, East Wake, Leesville, Salem and Wakefield -- are still in the mix.
A public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at Sanderson High School in Raleigh. A final vote could come Tuesday, Sept. 19.
