JAY, OKLA. — North Carolina officials have arrested anOklahoma man for allegedly abducting a teenage girl who has beenmissing for months.
The 16-year-old Skiatook girl managed to escape from GaryPatterson of Afton, Okla., and get to the police department inRose Hill, North Carolina.
The girl had been missing since April fourth. Her name has notbeen released.
The teen says Patterson threatened to hurt her and her family ifshe didn't leave with him.
Officials say Patterson had abducted the girl last summer.
She returned to family and then says Patterson forced her to gowith him a second time.
Oklahoma officials plan to extradite Patterson.
