Flash Flood Watch In Effect For Parts Of WRAL Viewing Area

RALEIGH, N.C. — Heavy showers and thunderstorms are making their way across the WRAL viewing area.

According to the National Weather Service, many counties across central and eastern North Carolina could see an inch of rainfall Tuesday.

is in effect for most of the WRAL viewing area until late Tuesday night.

The rain is expected to taper off by late Tuesday with a slight chance of showers Wednesday morning.
