brmyspots: What does the ABC store have to do with this?

Yeah, I think about my "negative spin" when I purchase foreign made goods. I think the choice is buy or do without as you implied.

I devoted much of my life to engineering and manufacturing. Manufacturing was outsourced to create large bonuses for CEOs. You are not the first to chide me for crying over spilt milk and you won't be the last. But accepting the state of things "can go on for decades" too.

tran. Dwelling on "what was once here" can go on for decades. Every city in every state once had greatness. This is where thing are now. I went into walleyworld before xmas with a friend and we tried very hard to find things that were made in America. Aside from the pharmacy and grocery items, we failed. Think about your negative spin please the next time you buy plastic made in china, tawaiin or korea.

It's not just a Kohl's store. They majority of clothing they carry is made here in the USA. That means jobs. Not just at the store but at the plants. Save your negative spin for the ABC store and hopefully I'm not supporting you.

Solarflare's "spin" is negative but true. This is not good news. It's is so-so news at best. The high paying jobs that left NC are being replaced with low paying jobs. Yes, it's better than nothing. But it's still a downgrade and not something to rejoice in.

solarflare Great negative spin on some good news. Be sure to sign you're unemployment check before you rush to the ABC store so they can cash it for you. At least these folks will have work. Good for Kohl's. Not my favorite place to shop but I'll spend some money there now.

Better to have low paying jobs "solarflare" than a no paying job,sit back and finish eating those cheeto's your probably over qualified so don't worry someone will be glad to get employment.
