HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — One person died in an early-morning collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in Harnett County.
Authorities said the motorcyclist, Jason Stoh, 22, of Broadway, collided with a car on N.C. Highway 27 near Bar-B-Que Church Road around 7:15 a.m. Stoh died on the way to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Celia Cousins, 60, also from Broadway. Her medical condition was not immediately clear Wednesday evening.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and no charges have yet to be filed.
About 15 minutes after the first wreck, emergency workers had to deal with a separate crash after an onlooker read-ended another vehicle.
