Boyfriend Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Raleigh Woman

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a fatal stabbing at an apartment complex near North Carolina State University early Saturday morning.
Police said Joy Morgan was stabbed in the chest shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday at the Mission Valley Apartments on Centennial Boulevard. She later died at WakeMed from her injuries.
Joy's live-in boyfriend, Kurt Davis, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Wake County Jail without bond.
Police believe that the stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute.
