DAVIDSON, N.C. — Just in time for the new football season,
UpSNAP
is adding fantasy football news and strategy information to its mobile content lineup.
UpSNAP, a provider of text-messaging services, is teaming with Ready-Set-Go Fantasy Sports for the football content. Ready-Set-Go provides the technology for Fantasy Football Starters.com.
The content will include streaming audio broadcasts designed for anytime, anywhere access.
Content can be accessed through any text-messaging-capable phone by texting "FFS" to 27627 (2SNAP).
"Fantasy football fans are among the most dedicated sports fans you'll find anywhere, and they recognize the value of getting both current statistics and the expertise to translate that information into wins," said Tony Philipp, UpSNAP's chief executive officer. "Mobile delivery is the ideal mechanism for delivering this kind of information, and we're looking forward to helping fantasy football fans have a successful season."
