Wake Man Charged In Beating With Propane Tank

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a man they said committed a brutal beating last month.

Detectives said Joshua David Jackson, 21, broke into a man's house in May and beat him with a 40-pound propane tank.

Jackson is charged with breaking and entering and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He is being held in the Wake County Jail on $75,000 bond.

The Sheriff's Office said others were involved in the beating and more arrests are likely.
