Home Day-Care Providers Gain Momentum In Fight Against Raleigh Officials

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh day-care providers are a step closer to winning their fight against City Hall.
The planning commission voted to allow in-home providers to watch up to five children in the morning and up to five children in the evening. Right now, they are only allowed to watch five children a day.
Day-care owners protested when city officials said they would start enforcing the five-a-day limit.
The change still needs approval from the full City Council.
