Three Suspects Linked To 16 Raleigh Robberies
RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said three suspects have been charged in connection with two robberies and one attempted robbery in the past week.

Billy Graham, his brother Christopher, and Ricky Johnson were taken into custody Friday night.

Police said one incident happened in an apartment complex parking lot on Wake Forest Road Monday night. Four days later, the suspects struck again on Brentwood Road, said police. And just a half hour after that incident, police said a man was robbed in the 3300 block of Quail Hollow Drive.

Karen Merritt lives on that street. She said thieves seem to target the neighborhood.

"My son's car was broken into. On the same day, five work vehicles were broken into," said Merritt.

Police arrested the three men, and they said they may also be linked to more robberies in the area. They are now being held in the Wake County Jail.

"We noticed these crimes, particularly over the last two weeks," said Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue.

Durham police are also looking into a string of armed robberies committed during a five-hour period one night this week. A Durham police representative said both departments would compare notes to see if the Graham brothers and Johnson could be linked to those crimes in the Bull City.
