A woman charged in connection with the death of a Cumberland County businessman now also faces credit card fraud charges.

Tiffany Bassett appeared in court Wednesday on seven fraud charges. She also faced six additional charges in court on Thursday.

Bassett has been charged with killing her boyfriend, Keith West, in their Johnston County home last month. Her bond was set at $5.1 million at a hearing on Thursday.

Bassett was also charged earlier this year in Johnston County with 11 counts of felony obtaining controlled substance by fraud or forgery, and two counts of attempted obtaining controlled substances. In Harnett County, she was charged with seven counts of felony obtaining controlled substance by fraud or forgery and three counts of attempted obtaining controlled substances.

She entered a plea deal in Johnston County in February and was admitted into a drug diversion program. She was scheduled to be sentenced next February 8, pending the completion of the drug program. She also made the same arrangement in Harnett County, with all but one of those charges dropped, and had a sentencing date set for May of 2007.
