Posted Updated

SMITHFIELD, N.C. — A computer theft could expose some Johnston County Schools employees to identity theft, authorities said.

A laptop and several flash drives were stolen last week from Selma Middle School, and one of the drives contains personal data on school employees, authorities said.

Authorities said they have several leads in the case.
