CARY, N.C. — E. Allen West is the new president of
Railinc
, a provider of software solutions for the railroad industry.
West has held a number of executive positions with the firm since 1999. He joined the company as vice president of information technology and later was named vice president of business services.
West replaces James Gardner, who retired in April. Gardner had been president since 1999.
Railinc provides data exchange, integration and information procession solutions.
