Winning $208 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Wisconsin

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — Someone in Wisconsin is $208 million richer today.

The winning ticket from Saturday night's big Powerball lottery drawing was sold in Wisconsin. Lottery officials say it was the only winning ticket sold. The winning numbers were 2-3-9-48-50 and the Powerball number was 23. The winner can take the prize as an annuity and collect $208 million -- before taxes -- over many years, or the winner can take a lump sum amount that is significantly less than the total prize.

Seven winning tickets worth $10,000 each were sold in North Carolina. (
