First Research Expands Services With Technology, Integration Focus

RALEIGH, N.C. — First Research
, a provider of industry intelligence services, is expanding its range of product offerings with additional emphasis on technology and integration of information into applications.
Leading that effort will be Weston Aiken, who is the company's new vice president for technology. Aiken has almost 10 years of experience in technology and enterprise software.
"We have found that many of our customers are interested in integrating First Research directly into their customer relationship management (CRM) and (sales force automation) applications to further streamline their use of Industry Intelligence throughout the sales process," said Bobby Martin, First Research's president and co-founder. "This is an important step for us as we work to develop improved methods of delivering our solutions in support of sales and marketing professionals."
Aiken has worked with First Research as a consultant on a project with Commerce Bank and its CRM system.
