Reward Offered For Dog Abuse Suspects

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Officials hope a reward will lead them to a man and woman accused of abusing more than a dozen dogs.

The U.S. Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Lawanda Rasland and Mark Davis.

Last month, animal control officers seized 17 dogs who were not being fed.

Investigators believe the dogs were abused for at least three years.
