Some Raleigh Towing Companies Want To Raise Rates

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — You may have to part with more green if your car gets towed in Raleigh.

Towing companies who have contracts with the city want to raise their rates.

Right now, they charge $50 for abandoned cars and $85 for wrecked cars. They want to raise those prices to $65 and $125 respectively.

The rates do not apply to cars that are parked illegally.
