DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police
have made an arrest in a murder outside the Duke Manor apartments Wednesday morning.
Durham police investigators have charged 27-year-old Elisha Maurice Williamson with murder in the death of his wife, 20-year-old Latisha Williamson.
Officials said a maintenance worker found Williamson's nude body near Building 1 of Duke Manor Apartments at 311 S. LaSalle St., just before 9 a.m. Williamson's cause of death has not been determined, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Police have not said if there were any obvious wounds on her body. They said they will wait for autopsy results.
