RALEIGH, N.C. — Some 800 volunteers from IBM pitched in to build and donate two homes to Habitat for Humanity of Wake County in the Idlewood Village neighborhood in Raleigh.

The houses, valued at some $100,000, were donated on Saturday. The homes were built as part of IBM's 40th anniversary observations of its operations in Research Triangle Park.

IBM workers built their first home for Habitat for Humanity in Wake County in 2004.
