Trial Begins For Wilson Pastor Accused Of Sexual Offenses

WILSON, N.C. — The trial of a Wilson County pastor accused of a number of sexual offenses and assault began Monday.

Nathaniel Rasberry, the pastor of the World Vision Outreach Center, faces 98 counts, including statutory rape, child incest and felony child abuse. He is currently in jail under a $2 million bond.

Authorities said Rasberry, 36, of Kenly, repeatedly sexually assaulted two women, now ages 19 and 25, over a period of several years.

His wife, Katie Rasberry, was also arrested and charged with obstructing and delaying an officer in the line of duty. She is out of jail under a $2,000 bond.
