CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Queen City is the new home for
Polymer Group
.
The company, which manufactures high-tech engineered materials, is consolidating some operations as part of the headquarters move to Charlotte from North Charleston, S.C. Some 100 people will work at the facility in Harris Corners Business Park.
Office operations in Raleigh and Mooresville, N.C. were also moved to Charlotte, the company said. In August, addition employees will be relocated from New Jersey.
Polymer Group recently completed a $40 million expansion of a production facility in Mooresville.
