Posted July 17, 2006
RALEIGH, N.C. — The clock is ticking for parents who want to comment about year-round school conversions in Wake County.
The school board is taking public comments
until 5 p.m. Monday. On Tuesday, school board members will iron out the criteria for selecting schools to convert.
Wake County already has 20 year-round schools. School leaders could covert as many as 20 to 30 additional schools for the 2007-2008 school year.
