Voyager Adds Alzheimer's Experts To Its Scientific Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C. — Voyager Pharmaceuticals

is adding six experts in Alzheimer's disease treatment and research to its scientific board of advisors.

Voyager is seeking to develop a drug to treat Alzheimer's.

Board members include: Steven DeKoskym an MD, who chairs toe department of neurology at the University of Pittsburgh and directs the university's Alzheimer's research center; Rachelle Doody, MD, director of the Alzheimer's disease and memory discord center at the Baylor College of Medicine; Mary Sano, PhD, director of the Alzheimer's disease research center at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Also: Lon Schneider, MD, director of the Alzheimer Research and Clinical Center of California; Leon Thal, MD, Florence Riford Chair in Alzheimer's disease at the University of California San Diego; and Bengt Winbald, MD, chief physician at Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden.
