ATLANTA, GA. — Cingular and HBO are teaming up to launch mini-episodes of the HBO series "Entourage" for Cingular Video users who subscribe to HBO Mobile.
The episodes are written and produced by the same staff and includes the same actors as the HBO show.
"Our relationship with HBO is all about learning how to take successful programs from television and bring them to the mobile phone," said John Burbank, vice president of marketing for Cingular. "We're excited to launch these episodes as an important first step in the creation of true broadcast quality entertainment for the mobile phone."
Cingular is also offering full-length episodes of Entourage and three other HBO shows. Each program is segmented into chapters.
