City Council Signs Off On Hillsborough Street Roundabouts

Hillsborough Street Roundabouts

Plans are moving forward for roundabouts on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.

The Raleigh City Council unanimously voted to select Kimley-Horn & Associates to provide design services for the first phase of the Hillsborough Street improvement project.

City leaders and developers want to build a total of 12 roundabouts to help ease congestion and make Hillsborough Street safer.

The first two will be in front of the N.C. State Bell Tower and at Hillsborough and Horne streets.
