Hurricanes Players To Promote Stanley Cup Highlights DVD

RALEIGH, N.C. — A DVD celebrating the Carolina Hurricanes' 2006 Stanley Cup win goes on sale Tuesday.

The disc, from Warner Home Video, the National Hockey League and NHL Productions, is available wherever DVDs are sold and carries a suggested retail price of $24.98.

It contains more than three hours of footage chronicling the 'Canes' run to the Cup, interviews with players, coaches and management and the entire broadcast of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

In addition, players Eric Staal, Erik Cole and Mike Commodore will make in-store appearances on Tuesday around the Triangle to promote the DVD, according to the Carolina Hurricanes'

Cole and Commodore are scheduled to appear from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wal-Mart on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. Staal is currently scheduled to appear from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. at F.Y.E. at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham.
