NASH COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities have charged two people in connection with the death of a man found dumped on the side of a Nash County road last week.
Nash County sheriff's deputies have obtained first-degree murder warrants for Judy Ann Waiters, 52, and Quinea M. Waiters, 31, in the death of Walter Lender Griggs.
But, authorities have not found suspects, who might be in New Jersey.
Investigators said the body of Griggs was found Friday morning along Highway 4 near the Gold Rock exit on Interstate 95.
Authorities said Griggs suffered multiple gunshot wounds and may have been shot at another location.
Authorities are now looking for a green Mitsubishi Montero with New Jersey license plate of
ULJ-71X
.
