NASH COUNTY, N.C. — Nash County investigators have identified a homicide victim who was dumped on the side of the road.
Investigators said the body of Walter Griggs was found Friday morning along Highway 4 near the Gold Rock exit on Interstate 95.
Authorities said Griggs suffered multiple gunshot wounds and may have been shot at another location.
Police are looking for two vehicles. One is a 1980's model tan Bronco. The other is a newer, green Mitsubishi SUV with a broken side window.
