ATLANTA, GA. — Internet Security Systems
has won a contract with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, which will utilize IDD security software appliances at all its hotels in the U.S.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Hyatt will utilize ISS Provential Network Multi-Function Security appliances for control of spam, viruses, worms and to prevent access by hackers. Hyatt had already deployed ISS products at its corporate offices.
"The network security of our hotels and the Hyatt enterprise is of great importance to us," said Robert Bansfield, assistant vice president for information technology at Hyatt. "By deploying ISS' multi-function security appliance in our hotels, we are confident that Hyatt's networks will be well-shielded from the various dangers lurking on the Internet since ISS' security technology is focused on protecting against vulnerabilities rather than known exploits."
