RALEIGH, N.C. — A man charged with trading drugs for sex with a 12-year-old girl will spend at least a dozen years in prison.
David Burnette agreed to the plea deal on Thursday. In February, Burnette gave the victim's mother crack cocaine.
In return, the girl's mother allowed him to have sex with her daughter.
The mother has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for prostitution of a minor.
